Arizona Ultimate Travel Guide

Arizona may be one of the coolest states to travel to, but it is also one of the hottest (literally)! Arizona is a landlocked desert oasis right in the home of the United States! This state is known for its hot and dry desert climate, the Grand Canyon, the red rocks of Sedona, the Hoover Dam, and the saguaro cactus. Home to some of the country’s most fantastic national parks and otherworldly features, its slogan Ditat Deus, (Latin for "God Enriches") says it all. Arizona state has 18 national monuments, more than any other state in the United States. Additionally, you can find some of the country’s most beautiful natural landscapes, bustling cities like Phoenix, and the spiritually lifting village of Sedona. Ideal for a hiking adventure trip to some of the national parks, or the bachelorette trip of your dreams in Scottsdale, Arizona has something for everyone.

    See the Grand Canyon

    Located north of Phoenix, Arizona lies the home of the epic Grand Canyon. The canyon is 4 to 18 miles (6 to 30 km) wide and 1 mile (1.6 km) deep. The canyon was formed by water, ice, and wind. This Natural Wonder of the World will take your breath away as you sit along the canyon’s rim.

  • Go Shopping at Tlaquepaque

    Often referred to as "the art and soul of Sedona," some say Tlaquepaque is the very heart of Sedona. Entering the grounds feels like a dreamily enchanting Mexican Village from a time gone by. Around every corner is another gorgeous photographic opportunity from the little chapel to the many courtyards.

  • Go to a music festival in the desert

    There is truly nothing like going to a music festival on the west coast of the USA. We went to M3F Fest in 2019 and it was to this date my favorite festival experience. If you have the opportunity to dance the night away under the sun in Arizona, take it.

  • Drive from Sedona to Flagstaff

    Flagstaff is one of those places that will stick with you forever. The drive from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon takes you through this mountain town and provides some of the world’s most epic mountain views…and Mexican food.

  • Hike Camelback Mountain

    Make sure to pack plenty of water if you plan to summit the iconic Camelback Mountain. Overlooking the red landscapes of Scottsdale and Tempe, this hike is worth the challenge. Keep an eye out for rattlesnakes!
